1. About these terms
HunterViz is operated by Ammon Hunter, a sole proprietor doing business as HunterViz, in the State of Utah, United States (“HunterViz”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) cover hunterviz.com, app.hunterviz.com, company addresses on hunterviz.com, the HunterViz Agent Team and related services (the “Service”). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
2. The Service
HunterViz lets you connect business data sources, keep their data in a dedicated data store for your workspace, view dashboards, and ask AI agents (the “Agent Team”) questions about your data and the web. Features depend on your plan and may change as we improve the Service. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove a feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance where reasonably possible.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Use an email address you control; we may ask you to confirm it.
- Keep your password and sign-in methods secure. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away at security@hunterviz.com if you think it’s been used without your permission.
- One person per account. Don’t share sign-in details; invite teammates to your workspace instead.
4. Workspaces and teams
- Every account has a Personal workspace. You can also create or join shared workspaces for a business or group.
- A workspace’s owner is responsible for it, its plan and its billing, who is invited, the roles they have, and its data access settings. Owners and admins can manage members and data sources and can see the workspace’s activity and its members’ Agent Team chats.
- When you invite someone, you confirm you have a reason to share the workspace with them. Content you create in a business’s workspace (such as chats and reports) belongs to that workspace and stays with it if you leave or delete your account.
5. Your data
- You own your data. “Your Data” means the data sources you connect, the business data they contain, and the content you or your team create in the Service (such as questions, chats, reports and dashboards).
- Permission to run the Service. You give HunterViz a limited permission to host, copy, process and display Your Data only to provide, secure and support the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don’t sell Your Data.
- Your responsibility. You confirm you have the rights and any permissions needed to connect each data source and to let us process its data, including any personal information about your customers or staff it contains, and that doing so follows the laws and agreements that apply to you.
- Access you grant. We access each source only with the access you give it, and you can remove a data source at any time. Removing it deletes its stored credentials and its tables in your workspace’s data store.
- Deletion. What happens to Your Data when you delete it, close a workspace or cancel a plan is described in the Privacy Policy. Export anything you need to keep before you delete it.
6. The Agent Team and AI
- Check AI output. The Agent Team uses AI models. Its answers, numbers, reports and suggestions can be incomplete or wrong, and they aren’t financial, legal, tax or other professional advice. Review them before you rely on them or act on them.
- Your decisions. You’re responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take with the Agent Team’s help.
- Price changes. Where available, agents may propose changes to your store’s prices. Nothing changes until you approve it, and you’re responsible for the changes you approve.
- Web research. Agents may search the web and summarize what they find. We don’t control third-party websites and aren’t responsible for their content.
- Usage. AI features use credits or tokens from your plan (see section 9). We may limit how much you can use at once to keep the Service reliable for everyone.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t, and don’t let anyone else:
- break the law or anyone’s rights, or connect data you don’t have the right to use;
- try to get into accounts, workspaces or data that aren’t yours, or get around our security, limits or plan restrictions;
- upload malware, or disrupt, overload or attack the Service or its providers;
- use the Service or its AI to create content that is unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or that infringes others’ rights;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
8. Third-party services
The Service works with services we don’t control, such as Google (sign-in, Sheets, Drive, BigQuery), Shopify, Stripe and the dashboard tools you link to. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. We aren’t responsible for them, and if one changes or stops working with HunterViz, the related features may change or stop too.
9. Plans, credits and billing
- Plans. Some plans are free; paid plans are billed in advance each month through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page and in the app when you subscribe.
- Credits and tokens. Plans may include a monthly allowance of AI credits or tokens. Allowances reset each month and unused amounts don’t carry over. Extra credits or tokens you buy apply as described when you buy them. Credits and tokens have no cash value and can’t be transferred.
- Payment. You authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method for your plan and any purchases, plus applicable taxes. If a payment fails, we may give a grace period, then limit or pause paid features until it’s paid.
- Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then ends. After that, your workspace’s data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Refunds. Fees and purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing.
10. Suspension and ending
- You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your Account page.
- We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, don’t pay, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we must by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem or export Your Data.
- We may stop offering the Service with at least 30 days’ notice to paying customers, and will refund any fees you’ve prepaid for the period after it stops.
- Sections that by their nature should survive (such as Your Data, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity and governing law) survive after these Terms end.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and content (other than Your Data), belongs to HunterViz and its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms while your account is active. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, HunterViz disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the Service, its AI output or its data will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or accurate, or that data loaded from your sources will always be current.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: HunterViz won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms, even if we were told they were possible. HunterViz’s total liability for all claims related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid HunterViz in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or US $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
14. Indemnity
If you use the Service for a business, you (and the business) will defend and indemnify HunterViz against third-party claims, and the resulting losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees), that arise from Your Data, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or anyone’s rights.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Utah, and you and HunterViz agree to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. The version and date at the top tell you which one applies. For material changes we will tell you by email or in the app at least 15 days before they take effect, and we may ask you to accept them again. If you don’t agree to the new Terms, stop using the Service and cancel before they take effect.
17. General
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and HunterViz about the Service, unless we sign a separate written agreement with you.
- If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver of it.
- You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
- Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages of internet or cloud providers.
- We may send notices to the email address on your account. You can reach us at ammon@mobilelifeagent.com.
